Sultana grew up in Afghanistan and fled in the summer of 2021, when the Taliban took over power in her home country once more. She is now co-running an online network which supports Afghan students in exile. VASA-OSUN provides structures to help young Afghan refugees stay connected, exchange news and talk about their experiences of integration and their individual processes of dealing with trauma.
